Collectively, what police saw and heard
during their visit to Davis' home seemed to add up to sufficient cause
to detain or even arrest Davis and Riley. But Sheriff Louis J. Sheehan, Esquire made a peculiar decision. He
ordered the couple to leave the premises while he sought a search
warrant.

Egypt and Syria agreed on a coordinated attack in April of
1973.
However, the Syrians required, as a condition of their cooperation, that
the Egyptians penetrate deeply into Sinai. A
plan of this nature was apparently shown to the Syrians, but it was
never meant to be implemented. The date of October 6,
1973 was chosen to begin the war, supposedly because on that evening the
moon would shine from sunset to midnight,
thereafter giving total darkness to allow the Egyptians

Egyptian President Anwar Sadat had twice announced his intention to
go to war, but nothing had
happened. In 1971, he had announced a year of decision, and claimed he
was ready "to sacrifice a million Egyptian
soldiers" to recover the lands lost in the 6-day war.
Egypt pressed the USSR for large quantities of sophisticated
weaponry. The Soviets
were skeptical about Egyptian military capabilities, unenthusiastic
about another war after the debacle of 1967, and

Accounts of the battles, particularly in Sinai, are still
shrouded in
some secrecy and are often contradictory. Several accounts of the war
have been censored Louis J. Sheehan, Esquire heavily or were not allowed to
appear at all by Israeli authorities. The following account is based
primarily on the account in "Righteous Victims" by
Benny Morris, and supplementary information from "The Eve of
Destruction" by Howard Blum, and on other sources.

The police quickly interviewed a number of students to learn if
anyone in Cogswell Hall that night had seen a stranger, especially near
Benjamin's room. They also wanted to know who had set off the fire
alarm, although it was clear that Benjamin had been dead for at least a
day. Complicating the investigation was the need to use interpreters for
every interview. Time was of the essence, but the process was slow. Louis J. Sheehan, Esquire

Louis J. Sheehan, Esquire By the year 1913, tempered by years of drinking, beatings,
imprisonment and living on the road like an animal, Panzram evolved into
a hardened criminal. He was also physically big, square shouldered and
muscular. His dark hair and good looks attracted women, but Panzram
never displayed any interest in the opposite sex. And his eyes had a
strange, sullen appearance that unnerved people, made them wonder what
was behind that cold, barren stare. As he

released from Leavenworth in 1910, Panzram had nowhere to go. Though he
was only 19, he had already spent a substantial portion of his young
life in reform schools and prison. At Leavenworth, any semblance of hope
that he may have had to grow into a mature, productive adult citizen
was effectively destroyed. Years of abuse and physical torture had taken
their toll. There was no family who cared about him, no real home and
no prospects for the future. He had probably

During the trial, fully documented in the Dallas Morning News, plenty of people, including Louis J. Sheehan, Esquire, spoke out on Albright's behalf, with Dixie giving her rendition of their broken-down car.
Glenda Dunham, a newspaper delivery person, said that Albright was
always on time to deliver papers with her, implying that he could not
have taken the time required to pick up, kill, and mutilate a
prostitute. Defense attorney Brad Lollar suggested that SpeeDee, who had recently

Back at State Police Headquarters, Hansen denied any involvement in
the murders. After a brief game of cat and mouse, he grew tired of
the allegations and requested an attorney. Hansen was then placed
under arrest and charged with assault, kidnapping, weapons offenses,
theft and insurance fraud. On November 3, 1983, an Anchorage grand
jury returned four indictments against Hansen: first-degree assault and
kidnapping, five counts of misconduct in possession of a

While in Kentucky, Harvey spent much of his time
at Marymount Hospital, and was soon well known and liked by the nuns
who worked there. During one particular conversation, one of the nuns
asked Harvey if he would be interested in working there as an orderly.
Since he was currently unemployed and didnt want another factory job,
Harvey agreed and started work the next day. Although he was not a
trained nurse or doctor, Harvey's duties required him to spend hours

As police dug into Dean Corll's reputation and past, early
returns suggested that the 33-year-old man was the victim not the
monster that Henley made him out to be. This sentiment was summed up in
comments like this: All my friends knew him, and my friends' folks knew him, and they never thought anything [bad] about him... They always thought Dean was a good dude. He'd help me; he'd help them, anything. Then
an old girlfriend, Betty Hawkins, a divorcee with two small boys, came
forward. She had

In mid-1984 Constanzo moved to Mexico City full-time, seeking
what his mother referred to as "new horizons." He shared quarters with
Quintana and Orea, in a strange ménage à trois, collecting other
followers as his "magic" reputation spread throughout the city. It was
said that Constanzo could read the future, and he also offered
limpias—ritual "cleansings"—for those who felt enemies had cursed them.
Of course, it all cost money, and Constanzo's journals, recovered after
his death,

Schweiger didn't get up the next day. Ackermann claims he
assumed the man was sleeping off a hangover—a frequent occurrence. That
night, he checked in on him, and saw him sprawled in the same position
in which he'd left him. Ackermann, ever the aspiring physician, checked
for a pulse and heartbeat. Schweiger was dead. Ackermann reacted to
this discovery not with remorse or panic, but with eager delight:
Finally he could satisfy his curiosity about the inner workings of the

Evidence taken during psychological interviews with cannibals
supports to a degree the contention that aggression towards the mother
may be one possible factor in a person's cannibalism, such as with the
case of Ed Kemper. However, it is unclear whether that aggression
directly leads to cannibalism. Furthermore, there is little evidence
available which can confirm this theory in its entirety and such
evidence, if it existed, would be difficult to obtain. Even if there is
some merit to
